Our calling is to equip and encourage the Christian Church in Eswatini. We are capacitating the Church to be the hands and feet of Jesus, assisting the widows and adopting the orphaned children in their communities. In January 2020 the King of Eswatini gave us a 2.5 acre parcel of land to build upon. Indeed, this is a tremendous honor! May 1, 2023 we signed the contract with Francolin Investments- Eswatini Asset Developers for the construction of Phase 1 of a two phase construction plan. As of May 24, 2023, the footers have been poured and the concrete block construction has begun! Please join with us in this Kingdom-building endeavor!
PHASE 1 — VOCATIONAL AND LIFE SKILLS TRAINING CENTER and MINISTRY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING
The construction of the Mpolonjeni Vocational and Life Skills Training Center and Ministry Residential Building is underway! The Vocational Center will allow us to teach vocational skills to young adults that will prepare them for employment, enabling them to be self-sufficient and productive members of their communities. Skills such as masonry, construction, farming, mechanic, electrical, plumbing, hairstyling, and English literacy courses will be taught on a rotating basis and accredited through local universities. These courses will be taught in a safe, positive, and loving atmosphere with mentorship from local pastors and church families. The residential building will provide housing for a full-time missionary family to oversee operations, as well as housing for visiting mission teams.

We have 2.5 acres in Mpolonjeni, eSwatini and the engineered plans for the construction of a Vocational Training Center. These blocks will do more than build brick and mortar walls! They are an eternal investment to rescue children from the grip of generational poverty and trauma, support struggling families, and create communities with Christ-centered wrap-around care for orphaned children.

PHASE 2 — MENTAL HEALTH, FAMILY SUPPORT, AND CHURCH DEVELOPMENT FACILITY
Addressing the complexities of mental health is foundational for lasting, sustainable change in Mpolonjeni. Phase 2 will provide a place for experienced counselors and trainers to minister to children and adults utilizing methods rooted in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).
Unplanned teenage pregnancy is a prevalent issue in Eswatini. It is no surprise that abortions, though illegal, are very prevalent and often put the young mother’s life at risk. Orphan to Heir will be offering Christian-based pregnancy counseling, abstinence education, and referrals for medical care and other available social services.
With the support of the many churches in the community, Orphan to Heir fosters a spirit of unity between the various denominations. Our facility will contain space for community-wide church leadership meetings and conferences. A unified Body of Christ is necessary for the ultimate goal of evangelism and the successful placement of orphaned children in loving family homes.
Phase 2 is approximately double the size of the Vocational Training Center. It is our hope and prayer that from this building we will capacitate teachers, pastors, and staff to replicate our ministry in other regions of Eswatini.
