Building Campaigns

our IMPACT and INFLUENCE
continue to grow

And the King will say, I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!
— Matthew 25:40

Our mission is to equip and encourage the Christian Church in Eswatini, empowering it to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We are equipping the church to care for widows and support families in adopting orphaned children within their communities. In May 2023, we broke ground on the construction of the Mpolonjeni Hope Center, and one year later, it was completed and fully operational.

Today, we are actively engaged in vocational training and pastoral support programs that aim to transform lives and strengthen the community. Below, you will find a history of our progress and an outline of our goals for the future. It is my hope and prayer that you will join us in our mission to bring the love and comfort of Jesus to the people of Mpolonjeni, Eswatini.

PHASE 1 — VOCATIONAL AND LIFE SKILLS TRAINING CENTER and MINISTRY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

The construction of the Mpolonjeni Hope Center, a vocational and life skills training center, along with the ministry residential building, is now complete! This state-of-the-art vocational center enables us to equip young adults with essential skills that prepare them for employment, fostering self-sufficiency and helping them become productive members of their communities. Training in masonry, painting, farming, mechanics, electrical work, and plumbing, are being provided, along with courses in business finance, budgeting, and entrepreneurship. By coupling practical skills with foundational business knowledge, we aim to give our students the best opportunity for long-term success. All programs and courses are taught in a safe, positive, and loving environment with mentorship provided by local pastors and church families. The residential building offers accommodation for visiting mission teams allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the experience of serving and loving the Mpolonjeni community. The Mpolonjeni Hope Center is a vital resource for equipping the next generation and strengthening the church’s impact in the region.

Thank you for your prayerful and financial support of the Mpolonjeni Hope Center. Your generosity represents an eternal investment in rescuing children from the grips of generational poverty and trauma, supporting struggling families, and creating Christ-centered communities with holistic care for orphaned children.

On behalf of the children and families in Mpolonjeni, THANK YOU for partnering with in this life-changing mission!

PHASE 2 — MENTAL HEALTH, FAMILY SUPPORT, AND CHURCH DEVELOPMENT FACILITY

With Phase 1 complete, we now turn our full attention to implementing the Phase 2 building plan. Phase 2 will address the complexities of mental health, which is foundational for achieving lasting and sustainable change in Mpolonjeni. This phase will provide a dedicated space for experienced counselors and trainers to minister to children and adults using methods rooted in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).

Phase 2 will also tackle the pressing issue of unplanned teenage pregnancies in the community. Despite being illegal, abortions are prevalent and often place young mothers’ lives at serious risk. Orphan to Heir aims to provide abstinence education, crisis pregnancy counseling, and referrals for medical care and other social services.

The Phase 2 facility will include space for community-wide church leadership meetings and conferences, encouraging collaboration and shared vision among the churches. Additionally, it will feature a large multipurpose room to host community events and gatherings. This phase of construction will be approximately twice the size of the vocational training center and is designed to have a far-reaching impact. By working closely with the many churches in the community, Orphan to Heir seeks to foster unity among the various denominations. A unified body of Christ is essential for effective evangelism and the successful placement of orphaned children into loving family homes.

It is our hope and prayer that this building will empower teachers, pastors, and staff to replicate our ministry model in other regions of Eswatini and, potentially, across Africa. Through this effort, we aim to extend Christ-centered care and support to even more communities in need.

WILL YOU PARTNER WITH US?

This is not a transaction, but an investment in heaven!
— The OTH Family

Your financial pledge will do more than build brick and mortar walls, but it will literally change the landscape of an entire nation! Orphan to Heir is not motivated by building “successful projects”. We are energized by love and compassion. This is not a transaction, but an investment in heaven! By creating a space that will allow the Church to invest in the lives of their young adults and minister to their physical and spiritual needs you are helping rescue children from the grip of generational poverty, supporting struggling families, and creating communities that no longer have orphans living alone!
